Description

This new Nitecore i4 itellicharger is an update of the older i4 and now offers twice the charging speed with a maximum output of 1500 mA while one battery is charging or a maximum output of 750 mA per bay when two batteries are charging.

Other new features include the active distribution technology, which will automatically direct all the power where it is needed, for example if two batteries are in the charger and one finishes charging before the other, the i4 will distribute all the power to the one bay with the uncharged battery.

The expanded compatibility means that the i4 can support 1.2 V, 3.7 V, 4.2 V and 4.35 V batteries, allowing you to charge a large selection of batteries from one charger. The charging voltage can be set independently for each charging bay by using the V button.

An optimised charging programme for IMR batteries monitors the entire charging process to ensure the end voltage is always within safe limits which helps extend battery life. The i4 also has IMR battery restoration feature, to revive depleted 0 V IMR batteries, that is activated by pressing and holding the C and V buttons on the charger.

The i4 will intelligently select the appropriate charging current based on the battery capacity and it can also identify non-rechargeable batteries, immediately notifying the user after installation by displaying four flashing LEDs. The charging current can also be manually adjusted.

While charging is in progress three green LEDs will steadily illuminate and once charging has complete the three LEDs will go solid green.
